I have been here a few times and am a fan if I'm looking for some "Asian comfort" food. Their menu has a good variety of different types of Asian food from pho to curry to American-Chinese food. My husband's favorite dish is their drunken noodles. Their dumplings are okay, but not fantastic enough that we haven't gotten them again. I was intrigued by the Umami Street Noodle as it's a bit different, but have found that I really like it though it was a bit inconsistent and I liked it better the first time I got it than the most recent. Food is always ready on time and is hot and fresh. Great option for take out (or good for eat in when available). Would recommend!
A unique way of allowing consumers to order their food, showing many ways to customize your order. We have been here a few times and I haven't ever left disappointed in what We ordered. While not "true" pho where one cooks broth for days, the pho is not bad for South of the River options. The only negative was one time the pho wasn't ready yet for us to order. Overall a good choice if you have a group that likes a range of Asian food options and Pho.
I discovered this restaurant from their coupon in the Entertainment book. It's a great place to stop for a casual lunch. I tried the Drunken Noodles with chicken. Tasted very good. They asked how spicy I would like it on a scale of 1-6. I like spicy so I chose 4 and thought it was excellent. Definitely spicy but didn't burn up my taste buds. My sons ordered the Zesty orange chicken and LOVED it! My husband ordered the teriyaki chicken with fried rice and both were very good. Really casual environment but clean! Friendly staff.
Clean, inviting, and some tasty fresh Asian food. All the comfort classics like Orange Chicken or Mongolian BBQ can be found here. There is also a decent menu for Boba Tea and appetizers to tack on to your order. Fair prices and portions are of good size. The menu is concise but has a good selection of traditional rice/protein and pho bowls. Great place to have in the suburbs, we could use more places like Umami.
I was sad to see this place go, it had fast, inexpensive thai food. While the curries weren't as good as much more expensive places, they were perfectly good. The space has been replaced with Mac Kitchen Asian Cuisine, I'll have to check it out.
